AmGeneral Insurance Berhad (AmGeneral) is one of the largest motor and general insurance companies in Malaysia, with more than four million policy holders nationwide. It is backed by a strong partnership between AmBank Group and Insurance Australia Group (IAG).
AmGeneral comprises the combined business of the two former entities AmG Insurance Berhad (AmG) and Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad (KIMB). It was established following the acquisition of KIMB by AmG in September 2012.
AmGeneral Insurance Berhad continues to trade under its two well-known, trusted brands Kurnia and AmAssurance. These brands are the face of the company to its agents, customers and the general public.
