Terms and Conditions

1.Renew & Reload II (“Campaign”) is organised by Liberty General Insurance Berhad (“LGIB”) (formerly known as AmGeneral Insurance Berhad).

2. The Customer shall read and understand these Terms and Conditions before participating.

  

Campaign Period

3.The Campaign shall commence from 1 November 2023 to 31 December 2023, both dates inclusive unless notified otherwise (“Campaign Period”).

4. LGIB reserves the right to terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice.

  

Eligibility

1. The Campaign is open to all new and existing customers who purchase any of the Motor Insurance Products (“the Customers”) from LGIB or through any of LGIB’s authorised intermediaries including AmBank and UOB Bank branches or authorised dealerships.

2. Employees of LGIB, AmBank Group and United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad are eligible to participate in this Campaign.

3. The list of Motor Insurance Products (“Products”):

  • auto365 Comprehensive Plus 
  • auto365 Comprehensive Premier
  • EZY Plus Comprehensive - Private Car
  • Perodua Total Protect Plus 
  • Proton Insurance Program
  • NISCARE
  • RENCARE
  • INFINITICARE
  • Mercedes-Benz Protection – Star Protect
  • Mercedes-Benz Protection – Star Protect Plus
  • Honda Insurance Plus

  

4. This Campaign applies only to policies issued by LGIB and the Insurance premium of which is fully paid for the said policies during the Campaign Period. Any policy issuance after the Campaign Period has ended is not eligible for the Campaign.

  

Rewards

5. The Customers will receive a set of Touch 'n Go eWallet reload PIN (“reload PIN”), subject to the following criteria:

  • Vehicle with minimum Sum Insured of RM150,000 and above

6. The Touch 'n Go eWallet reload PIN will be delivered to eligible customers in the form of SMS to their mobile phone number or to their email address registered with LGIB during the purchase of Insurance. You will receive the reload PIN within two (2) months after successful payment and full document submission, subject to verification of customer information received.

7. You are responsible for ensuring that you have provided accurate information of your mobile phone number and/or email address to receive the reload PIN. Should you decide to provide a third party’s phone number and/or email address, LGIB will not be liable for the receipt of reload PIN via the third party.

8. You are responsible for redeeming the Touch 'n Go eWallet reload PIN directly through the Touch 'n Go eWallet app as stated in the Email or SMS sent by LGIB within the validity of the unique e-code.

9. LGIB is not responsible for the activation of the reload PIN once they have been disbursed to the eligible customers. If a reload PIN remains unused or unredeemed after the said period, the reload PIN will lapse and will not be replaced.

10. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the relevant version of the Touch 'n Go eWallet installed to activate the reload PIN.

11. LGIB will not resend the Touch 'n Go eWallet reload PIN to different phone numbers provided by the customers if they did not receive or have deleted/lost the reload PIN sent based on the contact details provided by the customer (as per point 6).

12. Touch 'n Go owns the right to the terms and conditions of the reload PIN usage. Any warranty or claims on the reload PIN should be directed to Touch 'n Go.

13. LGIB is not an agent of Touch 'n Go, its subsidiary or affiliate and makes no representation/warranties/endorsement or in any way endorse, sanction, approve or support the brand(s) or merchandise of the reload PIN. LGIB is not liable for any injury/loss/damage suffered from use of the reload PIN. Any query and/or dispute on the usage of the reload PIN must be directed to and resolved directly with Touch 'n Go.

14. LGIB reserves the right, as it deems fit, to substitute the reload PIN with another product of similar value without prior notice.

15. The reload PIN is not transferable, nor exchangeable for cash or credit or kind whether in part or in full.

16. LGIB is not obligated to reissue the Reload PIN if the Reload PIN have not been collected by the Customers or has been lost by the Customers after they received it.

  

General Terms and Conditions of the Campaign

1. By participating in this campaign, the Customer will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of this campaign as stated herein and any additional terms and conditions stipulated by LGIB including the decisions of in all matters related thereto (“Terms and Conditions”).

2. The Reload PIN is not transferable, nor exchangeable for cash or credit or kind whether in part or in full.

3. LGIB reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions of this Campaign at any time without giving prior notice and without incurring any liability.

4. Any cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension by LGIB of this Campaign will not entitle the Customer to any compensation from LGIB for any and all loss or damage that may be suffered or incurred by the Customer as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension.

5. LGIB reserves the right (at its own discretion) to disqualify any Customer and/or withhold or confiscate the prizes if the policy is found to be cancelled prior to the Disbursement Period.

6. LGIB’s determination of all matters relating to this Campaign shall be final and conclusive. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any marketing or promotional materials relating to this Campaign, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

7. Where LGIB suspects any Customer is committing any form of unlawful and/or fraudulent activity for the purpose of participating in the Campaign, LGIB reserve the right to report such activity or suspicion to the police or relevant authorities.

8. LGIB would like to alert the Customer to take reasonable precautions when receiving any phone calls and messages requesting for their personal information during and/or after the Campaign. LGIB would also like to advise our valued Customers to call our Customer Centre for verification regarding the Campaign.

9. By participating in this Campaign, the Customer hereby gives consent for their personal data and/or information to be processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”) 2010. Please refer to our full Privacy Notice on www.kurnia.com, www.amassurance.com.my or www.libertyinsurance.com.my for further information.

11. These Campaign Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia.
