Terms and Conditions
1. Max-8 Campaign (“the Campaign”) is organised by Liberty General Insurance Berhad (Registration No. 197801007153 (44191-P)) (“LGIB”).
2. The Customer shall read and understand these Terms and Conditions before participating.
Campaign Period
3. The Campaign shall commence from 15 January 2026 to 31 March 2026, both dates inclusive unless notified otherwise (“Campaign Period”).
4. LGIB reserves the right to terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
Eligibility
5. The Campaign is open to all new and existing customers who purchase any of the eligible Motor Insurance Products and Non-Motor Insurance Products per Clause 9 below (“the Customers”) from LGIB or through any of LGIB’s authorised intermediaries including AmBank and UOB Bank branches or authorised dealerships.
6. Employees of LGIB are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.
7. This Campaign applies to new or renewal policies from Liberty, Kurnia and AmAssurance brand’s Motor and Non-Motor Insurance Products issued by LGIB and the insurance premium of which is fully paid for the said policies during the Campaign Period, will automatically be eligible for entry into the Campaign:
- Private Motor Comprehensive Insurance Products, subject to a minimum gross premium of RM800
- Non-Motor Insurance Products, subject to a minimum gross premium of RM100.
8. Any policy issued after the expiry of the Campaign Period is not eligible for the Campaign.
9. The list of eligible Private Motor Comprehensive Insurance products (“Motor Insurance Products”) are as follows:

- Perodua Total Protect Plus

- Isuzu Insurance Pro
All Non-Motor Insurance Products are eligible, subject to a minimum premium of RM100.
MAX’s 8 – Campaign Rewards
10. Each policy entitles the Participant to one (1) entry in the Campaign. Once a policy or a Participant has won a prize, the policy or the Participant will no longer be eligible to be part of subsequent draws.
11. The Prizes for this Campaign are:

12.The selection of Consolation Prizes winners will be based on the total policies received at the end of the following week (“Campaign Weekly Selection”) during the Campaign Period:
Campaign Weekly Selection 1: 15 – 21 January 2026;
Campaign Weekly Selection 2: 22 – 28 January 2026;
Campaign Weekly Selection 3: 29 January – 4 February 2026
Campaign Weekly Selection 4: 5 – 11 February 2026;
Campaign Weekly Selection 5: 12 – 18 February 2026;
Campaign Weekly Selection 6: 19 – 25 February 2026;
Campaign Weekly Selection 7: 26 February – 4 March 2026
Campaign Weekly Selection 8: 5 – 11 March 2026;
Campaign Weekly Selection 9: 12 – 18 March 2026;
Campaign Weekly Selection 10: 19 – 25 March 2026;
Campaign Weekly Selection 11: 26 – 31 March 2026.
13. The selection of Monthly Prizes winners will be based on the total policies received at the end of the following month (“Campaign Monthly Selection”) during the Campaign Period:
Campaign Monthly Selection 1: 15 January – 11 February 2026;
Campaign Monthly Selection 2: 12 February – 11 March 2026;
Campaign Monthly Selection 3: 12 March – 31 March 2026.
14. The Grand Prize winner selection will take place after the end of Campaign Period. The selection of Grand Prizes winners (“Campaign Grand Prize Selection”) will be based on the total policies received during the full Campaign Period.
15.All entries are sorted randomly and the total number of entries are divided by 188, rounded down to the nearest whole number to get the shortlisted entries (i.e. 8,000 entries divided by 188 equals to 42, resulting in every 42nd entry to be shortlisted: 42nd, 84th, 126th, …, 7,938th, 7,980th).
16. The first one-hundred-eighty-eight (188) Participants and first eight (8) who are shortlisted based on the total number of entries during each Campaign Weekly Selection and Campaign Monthly Selection as per Clause 12 and Clause 13 above shall be shortlisted as the winners for the Consolation Prizes (“Shortlisted Winners”) and will be required to perform the following steps to win the Consolation Prizes:
- Verify their identity; and
- Answer a simple question related to this Campaign correctly.
17. The first (1) Participant who are shortlisted based on the total number of entries during the Campaign Grand Prize Selection per Clause 14 shall be shortlisted as the Grand Prize winner (“Shortlisted Winners”) and will be required to perform the following steps to win the Grand Prize:
- Verify their identity; and
- Answer a simple question related to this Campaign correctly.
18. The Shortlisted Winners will be contacted by Liberty Quality Assurance and Training team based on the contact information provided during the policy submission process.
19. Each confirmed winner shall provide accurate information of their mobile phone number and/or email address during the purchase of the Motor and Non-Motor Insurance Products per Clause 5 and 9 above to receive the Prize. LGIB shall not be liable for any loss, damage or claim suffered or incurred by the confirmed winners due to the receipt and/or redemption of Prize by any third party, if the confirmed winners decide to provide any third party’s phone number and/or email address.
20. In the event LGIB is unable to contact the Shortlisted Winners after three (3) attempts (e.g. no reply, telephone number not in service, the answerer does not know the Shortlisted Winner) and/or failure of the Shortlisted Winner to answer the question correctly, LGIB reserves the right to replace Shortlisted Winner by shortlisting the next winner from the pool of total eligible Customers using the same process stated herein. LGIB shall not be held liable whatsoever in the event the Shortlisted Winner is not reachable for whatever reasons.
21. All Shortlisted Winners who have been verified and have answered the question correctly will be deemed as confirmed winners and will be entitled to receive the prize (each for Consolation Prizes or Grand Prize respectively).
22. The confirmed winners will be announced and published on the Liberty and Kurnia Insurans Facebook page.
23. All prizes will be delivered to the confirmed winners within two (2) months of the confirmed winners’ announcement date per Clause 22 above.
24. All cost, fees and/or expenses incurred or to be incurred by the confirmed winners in relation to claiming the Campaign Prizes, which shall include but not limited to the cost for transportations, accommodation, meals, personal costs and/or any other costs, are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winners.
25. LGIB reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute any prize with another prize of similar value for any reason and without prior written notice.
26. The prizes are non-transferable to any other party or parties and are not exchangeable for other prizes, cash, or reward of similar value or any other alternatives under any circumstances.
27. Choice of colour of the Grand Prize is subject to availability. Future maintenance of the Grand Prize must be borne by the winner. Liberty takes no responsibility for any mechanical, body or paint repairs and/or modifications made to the Grand Prize from the date and time of collection.
28. The Weekly Consolation Prizes (“e-Vouchers”) will be delivered to the confirmed winners via WhatsApp message or email address registered with LGIB during the purchase of insurance products.
29. The RM50 Touch ‘n Go Reload PIN are non-transferable to any other party or parties and is not exchangeable for other items or vouchers in part or in full.
30. LGIB shall not be responsible for the activation of the e-Vouchers once it has been disbursed to the confirmed winners. The confirmed winners are responsible for redeeming the e-Vouchers within the prescribed validity period of the e-Vouchers.
31. LGIB is not in any way endorsing, sanctioning, approving, or supporting the brand(s) or merchandise of the prizes. Any query and/or dispute on the usage of the prizes must be directed to and resolved directly with the respective vendors.
32. Venue and time of the prize giving will be announced from time to time.
33. LGIB reserves the right to postpone the predetermined date and venue of the prize giving ceremony to a later date, which shall be notified by LGIB to the confirmed winners in case of any unforeseen circumstance.
General Terms and Conditions of the Campaign
34. By participating in this campaign, the Participants will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions as well as any additional terms and conditions stipulated by LGIB including LGIB’s decisions on all matters related thereto. (“Terms and Conditions”).
35. LGIB reserves the right to amend, modify, or revise these terms and conditions at any time, without giving prior notice and without incurring any liability.
36. Any cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension of this Campaign by LGIB shall not entitle the Participants to any form of compensation, and LGIB shall not be held liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) suffered or incurred by the Participants as a result of such cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension.
37. LGIB reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any confirmed winner or winners and/or withhold or revoke the prizes if the policy is found to have been cancelled prior to the disbursement of prizes.
38. LGIB’s determination on all matters relating to this Campaign shall be final and conclusive. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any marketing or promotional materials relating to this Campaign, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
39. Where LGIB suspects that any of the Participants is committing and/or engaging in any form of unlawful and/or fraudulent activity for the purpose of participating in the Campaign, LGIB reserves the right to report such activity or suspicion to the police or relevant authorities.
40. LGIB advises the Participants to exercise reasonable caution when receiving phone calls and messages requesting personal information during and/or after the Campaign. Participants are encouraged to contact LGIB’s Customer Service directly for verification should they receive any suspicious communications related to the Campaign.
41. By participating in this Campaign, the Participants hereby gives consent for their personal data and/or information to be collected, processed, used, disclosed, and retained in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”) 2010. 43. The Terms and Conditions of the Campaign are governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia.
